Oberlin College students voice concerns about dining hall 'cultural appropriation'

Cultural appropriation is an ongoing social issue but it's the relation to food that is now garnering national attention at Oberlin College

The Oberlin Review reported on Dec. 12 that the Black Student Union protested against Campus Dining Service's "failure to address their concerns outlined in a petition submitted to the College in late November."

The November petition, which began circulating on Nov. 18 and got almost 500 signatures, found fault with the food offered in the Lord-Saunders Dining Hall.
